At Mr. Taco Alaska, we bring the true taste of Mexico to Wasilla with recipes passed down through generations. Founded by Chef Jorge Muños Robles, originally from Zacatecas, Mexico, our restaurant is a tribute to the rich culinary traditions of our homeland.
In years, Mr. Taco Alaska was born, offering homemade dishes made with the same love and care as in his family’s kitchen. Every taco, burrito, and enchilada is crafted to keep tradition alive, just like his abuelita (grandmother) taught him.
Our Story
Growing up in Zacatecas, Chef Jorge learned the art of Mexican cooking from his grandmother, using fresh ingredients, bold spices, and time-honored techniques. When he moved to Alaska, he noticed a lack of real Mexican food—so he decided to change that.
